FAQ - Registration and login

FAQs related to registration, login and logout

You could be automatically logged out if inactive.

Some parts of the site has an automatic security/logout function: If you don't use the site for a certain period of time you are automatically logged out, even if a page is open in your browser.

Using the site means loading new pages. If you just have one page displayed and you don't click on any links, then the site is not used.

No, it is not. You have to explicitly logout before closing your browser.

It is very easy to verify this:

  • go to the site, login
  • close your browser by either closing just the current window (assuming you have other browser windows open) or closing all open browser windows.
  • then start the browser again and come back to the site.

You will notice that the site remembers that you are logged in.

In order to logout select Logout at the top of the page.

You will notice that you have logged out in that the "User login" area with its Username and Password will be visible.
